Domestic Clients Key Policy

In the event of a cleaner leaving or going on holiday, we will ask the cleaner to leave the Client’s key at the Client’s address.

When arranging a cover cleaner we will ask the Client to hide the key at a designated spot. We will also expect to receive clear instructions of where the key is hidden prior to the next cleaning visit and in order to provide the instructions to the cover cleaner.

If a cover cleaner is requested but the Client fails to provide clear instructions of where the key is hidden and the cleaning service can not take place we will charge the Client the full price for the service.

When a Client provides a cleaner with keys or wants their keys returned we must be notified in writing via email at [email protected] We will not be held liable for keys if the Client had failed to notify us.

The return of keys is at the expense of the Client. We will request a prepaid label in order to post keys or we will ask the Client to pay us our minimum per booking of 2 hours if the keys are to be returned in person by the cleaner.

We will not be responsible for the safekeeping of keys or key fobs for a period of time of more than 1 month after a service has been canceled. We will keep the keys belonging to the Client for the period of time mentioned above and will safely destroy and dispose of them if we do not hear back after the period had passed.
